What happens if I don’t have an estate plan when I become incapacitated?

Do I need a trust if I already have a will?

A trust can help reduce estate taxes, protect assets, and ensure smooth transfer of property to beneficiaries without court intervention. Wills do not avoid probate proceedings where the estate is larger than the probate thresholds set by the state.
